YC-15A-DL First flight: 26/08/1975. Four-engined, STOL, tactical transport. Two
prototypes built, s/n: 72-1875 (c/n: 50000), 72-1876 (c/n: 50001).
Program cancelled but later revived and developed into the C-17A.

YC-17A
1991, prototype 4-engined, STOL heavy-lift transport.
Used in flight test duties, retired in 2012. 2 static test
airframes also built, c/n: 50003, 50004.
