fuselage, permanent conversions for test duties.
YC-141B 1 C-141A(66-0186), 1977, prototype with lengthened fuselage, later to C-141B.
C-141B 271 C-141A, 1979-2004, major upgrade program, fuselage lengthened 23.4ft.,
refuelling boom receptacle added, upgrades completed in 1982.
C-141B SOLL II: 1994, 13, conversions for special low-level missions.
